The biggest island is situated at north Dalmacii. The lime’s tops with the top Vela Straze (338 above the sea level) are on the southwest side of island.
Southwest side is steep and stony, another parts of coast with some little bays (Soliscica, Sakarun, Pantera and Telascica) are slope down to the sea. On the islands are not any water flows or fountains. All eleven villages are located on the northeast part of island. The biggest one is Sali. The chief occupations are farming, grape and olive raising and fishing. All villages are connecting with a route. The south part touches the borders of National park Kornati. In year 1460 was Dugi Otok named Veli Otok.
